Ingredients
For the Burger Patties:

- 1 teaspoon salt

- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

For Assembling the Burger:
- 4 brioche or sesame seed buns, toasted
- 4 slices of lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup pickles, sliced
- 4 tablespoons burger sauce (or mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard mixed)
Method
Step 1: Make the Burger Patties
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Form into 4 equal-sized patties, about ¾-inch thick.
- Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent bulging while cooking.
Step 2: Cook the Patties
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, flipping once, until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and let rest while preparing the toppings.
Step 3: Make the Cheese Sauce
- In a saucepan over low heat, warm heavy cream until it begins to steam.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika, stirring until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.

- Spread burger sauce on the bottom buns.
- Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and burger patty.

- Add onions and pickles, then cover with the top bun.
